Can’t beat the views in this spacious and comfortable flat. Beds were great, bathrooms very nice and clean. Friendly and responsive communication from owner. The building manager responded quickly when we had a question or needed something. For example, we needed more laundry soap and he had it for us within the hour. The Wi-Fi was spotty-luckily we had our cell phones to hotspot, but that may be a reflection of local connectivity than anything else. More time for all the amazing things to do and see in Bath! A highlight: paddle boarding on the river with Original Wild SUP - ended up in the weir right below the flat windows. Highly recommend this rental for it’s views and proximity to town and train station

“4 of us stayed for two nights to celebrate our friends forthcoming wedding and to have a much needed girls weekend away. As soon as we entered Riverview we were absolutely taken aback by the stunning view from the huge sitting room sash windows. When it is advertised as one of Baths best views this is spot on. In fact we think it must be THE best view from any accommodation in Bath. The sound of the weir when you open the window is just wonderful. We could never tire of watching the world go by over Pulteney Bridge. The decor throughout the entire apartment is exceptional and beautifully thought out. Double height ceilings give an enormous sense of space. The location couldn’t be anymore perfect for walking a very short distance to explore the fabulous shops, visit the Thermae Spa, Bath Abbey as well as the vast choice of restaurants. Amongst many restaurants we booked over the three days, we visited The Ivy for brunch and Clayton's Kitchen for dinner which we can’t recommend enough! The choice however, is endless! So much care and attention has been lovingly put into Riverview from the welcome snacks and wine to the toiletries, towels and bed linen, the lovely kitchen crockery and accessories and the gorgeous furnishings. We cannot recommend a stay here enough. We all look forward to a return stay. Thank you so much. We will remember our weekend here always.”

I stayed here with a group of friends and it was nothing short of perfect. The apartment is in a great location-only a short walk away from everything to do and see; it is the perfect size for 6 people, with plenty of living space and good sized bedrooms (even the sofa bed is in its own secluded area); the kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you might need including an espresso machine with a milk frother and even an egg timer! My only minor quarrel is that there wasn’t a recycling bin which I think should be a necessity. Overall a brilliant apartment, perfectly located and well equipped- thank you so much for our stay!

Just got back from an amazing trip to Bath with my husband and daughters. This apartment is truly the best location in town and has the loveliest view! We could get anywhere we wanted to be in a couple of minutes, and we were within a block of a TON of shops and grocery options. The apartment was immaculately clean (and I'm extremely picky about cleanliness), the beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of space for our family to relax in the evenings after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen is well-equipped, so we were able to cook for ourselves when we wanted. The rental process was simple, and check-in was a breeze. I fully plan on booking with this agency again next year when I return with a group of friends. We may end up in a different house/apartment to suit bedroom/bathroom needs, but I would not hesitate to use this rental agency again.

You couldn't ask for a better more central location than the Argyle Riverview flat. Everything is right there! We stayed here for 8 nights while making trips into the nearby Cotswolds and villages. Plenty of room to sit and relax for 4 adults since there were 2 couches in the LR and a large dining table. In the living room, you have 15 ft. high windows that look out over the river and park. Alexa, our host, left us a welcome bottle of cold wine and treats plus some breakfast items to get us started. The bedrooms are on the street side of the flat but the triple pane windows kept out the noise. Beds and linen were comfortable. The flat was very well-maintained and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the location and the fantastic views. Highly recommend making this your home base while visiting Bath.

The flat is very comfortable and everything was in good working order. It was a very authentic Bath experience to stay in such a lovely Georgian flat.

This apartment was perfect for 4 adults- one bedroom is on the small side, but has an ensuite bathroom, and was plenty of room for 2 of us during our stay. There is plenty of "living space" , including a nice upper level reading area. Clean and well appointed, this is absolutely a wonderful choice for exploring Bath. Bath was a nice accompaniment to our time in London- I would definitely recommend a visit to this area and to this property!

Our family of five stayed in this lovely flat for 3 nights the week before Christmas. We arrived after dark and had such a treat in store when we woke up! The view from the enormous windows is spectacular, looking down upon the River Avon. I cannot recommend this flat more highly. Everything from the linens on the bed to the ideal location adjacent to the famous Pulteney bridge is exceptional. There is no need for a car as pubs, Waitrose, shopping and the city centre are all just a few minutes’ walk from the flat.
We also highly recommend Cavendish Cooks. It was such a treat to have a delicious home cooked meal waiting for us in the refrigerator after a long day of travel!

This flat was simply amazing! It is in a very nice area and the views from the windows are spectatcular!. Olivia from Bath Holiday Rentals met us at the flat and walked through everything with us. They left us breakfast for our first morning along with other goodies. Bath is easy to walk around or you can take a taxi if need be. We really enjoyed our stay and saw the Roman Bath's, Jane Austin Museum, had a wonderful dinner at Tilly's Restaurant - the mushroom risotto was wonderful! We took a day trip to Chawton to see Jane Austin's house and museum. I would definitely recommend the Argyle Riverview Apartment and would love to come back and stay there again! The Argyle Riverview Flat is well-named: you have an enormous window looking over the river and the weir. Plan to spend some time just sitting at table with the window open, relaxing, maybe with scones and a pot of tea. The flat is an easy walk to what most visitors want to see, the historical Roman baths (a very nicely laid out historical site and tour), the Abbey (where you can take a tour to climb up and see the bells and the clock), and well-known architecture like the Royal Crescent and the Circus. You're close to restaurants, from high-end to some nice pubs, and there's a grocery a half-block away if you want to use the fully equipped kitchen. Also an easy walk to the train station, the cricket club, and the Royal Theater. If and when we manage to return, we would love to stay here again.

My husband and I and one other couple recently stayed at the Argyle Riverview Flat for several days while we were journeying through England. Our stay could not have been more pleasant. Bath Holiday Rentals was efficient, professional, and responsive from the moment we booked the flat to the moment we departed. The flat itself is perfectly located, near tons of excellent shops and restaurants, and easy walking distance to the Baths and Cathedral and other key spots. The flat is perfectly appointed, with recently-renovated kitchen and bathrooms. It was perfect for two couples, and we found it the most comfortable of any of the accommodations we found on our trip.
I would recommend both Bath Holiday Rentals and the Argyle flat emphatically and without reservation. We loved every minute and hope we can go back.

The apartment is beautifully decorated, comfortable and the location is perfect. From our big window we looked out onto the Avon and city.

'We had one of the very best week breaks imaginable staying at the apartment in Bath.
The apartment was spacious and very comfortable... Lovely soft pillows!
We were lucky that the sun shone everyday and Bath was such a beautiful city to explore. So many lovely walks.
We had a few days driving to Cheddar Gorge, Wells and a fun day in Glastonbury. Altogether we could highly recommend Bath Holiday Rentals.

We would like to comment that the Argyle Riverview Flat surpassed our expectations in its size, quality and location. The view over the weir was amazing and the constant sound of the water restorative and calming. My 18 month old granddaughter loved watching the ducks and gulls from the windows .... that was certainly the best part of her holiday in Bath! The service from Bath Holiday Rentals was first class.

Once again we had a very successful trip to the beautiful and historic city of Bath and to the riverview flat.My two companions were very impressed with its location and the drawing room commands such a wonderful view of the weir and Pulteney Bridge that one feels that one could become as prolific a writer as Jane Austen sitting at the window and being creative.Thank you for your very prompt service in repairing the radiator in the double bedroom as the weather was very cold .We hadn’t noticed the fan heaters that were also available which were a great boon.I retraced my steps with my companions to do the walking tour which is a wonderful experience and I returned also to the Circus Restaurant and was just as pleased as the last visit.We also spent a very relaxed time at the Thermal Spa and watched the sunset from the bubbling warm outdoor penthouse pool while the air was at freezing level.A great experience and to be repeated next time.Overall the location of the Riverview flat is unbeatable in my estimations.The beds and bed linens were luxurious

The Argyle Riverview flat lives up to its name with a fantastic view over the river and weir from the large Georgian window in the living/dining area. It’s also elegantly furnished, comfortable and warm (despite the high ceilings) and we really enjoyed our stay here.
The apartment is in an ideal location in Bath overlooking the weir by Poultney Bridge – less than five minutes walk to the Roman Baths, Bath Abby and the shopping areas, and a ten to 15 minute stroll to the Jane Austen Centre and the Royal Crescent. The river boats dock just beneath the apartment; the open topped bus tours are on your doorstep, and there is a choice of good restaurants nearby. All in all a perfect location which meant we did not use a car for our 3 day stay.
Best points: The stunning view and the spacious feel of the living/dining areas with the high Georgian ceilings. The mezzanine area is excellent use of space and provided an extra sleeping area which meant we could accommodate 5 in the apartment without feeling crowded.
Alexa’s list of recommendations for restaurants was really useful – and the link to the catering service was appreciated as we had food waiting for us in the apartment when we arrived.
Compromises: The second bedroom is not spacious and the ensuite is off this bedroom rather than the master bedroom.

We had a wonderful stay at the Argyle St apartment. It was so beautifully furnished and well equipped and the river view made it even more special. The central location was convenient for all the shops and sights so we didn’t need to use the car the whole time we were there. We really appreciated the excellent and personal service we received from Alexa and Olivia and the welcome pack was just the ticket. We wouldn’t hesitate in using Bath Holiday Rentals in the future or recommending them to our friends and family. Thanks again for making our visit to Bath so enjoyable.

This property was the first property I took on when I started my company back in 2006. I have had so many fabulous reviews over the years about this property and its location but as from July 2014 it is new Owners and the style and furnishings have had a complete re-vamp. Therefore I have removed the other testimonials as they did not relate to the property as it currently is. Please be assured the location, view and style are as good as they have always been so I am sure to have many fabulous reviews posted in no time.
