Booked by family, they were 11 of us. Great experience for a first time. Staff are welcoming and are always willing to help, but some struggled with English. Stop in Khasaab from Dubai then Muscat, gives you a chance to see Oman, although its very empty and boring. I've cruised on numerous cruise lines and would likely never choose MSC again.Crew is friendly and works so hard - I honestly felt bad for them! They are understaffed, their managers are rude to them (yelling, snapping -- in front of customers?! Appalling.) Staff aren't given streamlined processes and it shows. In May we spent a week in the Mediterranean on MSC Opera and we had a fabulous time. The ship is considered small and a bit old for the modern standards, but it was faultless! Extremely well kept, shiny clean and all the crew was amazing, hard-working people. We stayed in internal cabin on deck 9 in the middle of the ship, we felt almost no motion. Cabin was kept immaculate by our cabin steward.
