because I love the game, and I pay for things I enjoy, because that helps getting the game further and better.
Not paying helps nobody and certainly is not an encouraging sign towards ZOS to invest more into the game and improving it.

I like it, I like the lore, I like what I do in the game, and I do all and everything, vet-trials to PvP and everything in between.

Mainly for craft bag, extended bank space and automatic access to DLC I don't need to buy separately. The 9K crows that come every 6 months at membership renewal also come in handy for buying various other account upgrades such as extra character slots, as well as exclusive crown store items such as the seasonal motifs. I don't buy crown crates or cosmetic upgrades separately. I played for my first 2 years without subscription because at that time it didn't offer enough perks, and they had a pretty long hiatus in releasing DLCs - bought the first 4 bundled, with crowns bought at a discount.

After 4 years I finally let it lapse 3 weeks ago. Why you ask? Well the answer is pretty simple. I don't mind throwing hundreds of USDs/month on a hobby that keeps me entertained. However for the past one plus years. ZOS has been slowly but surly neutering the magical archetype of the game and pushed for the physical archetypes to be far superior.

So you can say Murkmire was the final straw. However as of now I declares it a break. But the more and more I have fun and more balanced and fun MMOs. Where the magical archetype is not completely inferior to the physical archetype. More and more it gets harder for me to even log in for the free dailies.

TR:DR I dropped my ESO+ because I find another MMO that's fun, and supports my playstyle. That ESO has completely done away with.

Mainly for the crafting bags. Besides from that It doesn't really give me any value.

I play maybe tops 5-10 hours per week. If I didn't have craft bags I would spend way too much time inventory management. But then again playing that little, the cost is almost not worth it.

I need the craft bag otherwise I'd have only one playable character, the rest would be mules.

That said, I do drop it when I know I ain't gonna be playing for a while.

What the next few content announcements are will help me to decide if I renew in February.

(edit - The crowns also help me make it through the stretches where I don't sub)

    the way it's designed.
The longest you can go is 6 months... If I was paying $99.99 for a year, I might have gone for it.

Kind of off topic, Are certain DLC Crown Store Exclusives? I just purchased Summerset, but I want to explore the Imperial City and Clockwork City. So do I have to purchase Crowns, to then purchase the content?

Plus I feel like, If I had the membership I'd have to put in more playing time, Like I did with Play Station Plus.

    Favorite Foods and Potions

    https://media.giphy.com/media/3otPoTggaYFNd1FdAI/giphy.gif

    • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

Nope. Cancelled my sub when Nerfmire was announced. First time not being a subscriber since August 2016.

Figured I'd miss the craft bag - but I have thousands upon thousands of mats in there already that I'll never use, and 10 characters with fully leveled bag space for storage. I have close to 15k crowns saved up because there's nothing worth buying from the store - all the decent stuff winds up in loot crates. Costume dyeing is obsolete since the outfit system was introduced. I'm not interested in housing. I'm already a master crafter of everything, and I have millions of gold in the bank. Honestly, I'm a little embarrassed that it took me this long to realize how pointless the subscription had become for me.

Also, being able to run my daily random dungeon on multiple characters for 100k XP apiece, and never getting stuck with a DLC? Priceless.

I don't play that much, maybe 20 minutes a week. When I play I don't like the inventory management mini-game and since it's a play the way you want game I just never pick up loot except for gold or if the drop is exactly what i need. I have fallen pretty far behind in the CP system too, and working to catch up, has that key word "work" in it, that I hate to combine with recreational activities.
